CodeWithSense is a fast-growing technology consulting firm helping high-growth startups scale through smart engineering and operational excellence. We're looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team and shape the people strategy that supports our ambitious growth.

This is a high-impact role focused on recruiting top talent, strengthening company culture, streamlining HR operations, and supporting our globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and continually improve HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with local labor laws (India and international as applicable).
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, appraisals, and career development conversations.
  • Advise and coach managers on team building, conflict resolution, and employee development.
  • Ensure a great employee experience across onboarding, engagement, and offboarding.
  • Review, update, and enforce HR policies, programs, and practices aligned with business goals.
  • Support leadership on organizational development, workforce planning, and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and create regular reports and dashboards on key people metrics.
  • Own recruitment process along with Technical recruiters with a strong focus on cultural fit and long-term retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced startup or consulting environment.
  • Proven success in talent acquisition, especially hiring for technical and remote roles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and partner with leadership on HR strategy.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of Indian HR laws and exposure to global HR practices is a plus.
