About the Job
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and organizational development in a high-growth fintech startup environment.
Core Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for tech, product, marketing, sales, operations, and support roles.
- Build strong talent pipelines and collaborate closely with hiring managers.
- Design and implement effective onboarding and induction processes.
2. Performance Management
- Develop and implement performance management systems (OKRs/KPIs).
- Manage quarterly/bi-annual appraisal cycles.
- Partner with department heads to identify high performers and address talent gaps.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with applicable Indian labor laws.
- Coordinate payroll activities with the finance/accounts team.
- Manage contracts, offer letters, exit processes, and employee documentation.
4. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Design and drive initiatives to build and sustain a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Organize team-building activities, internal communication initiatives, and recognition programs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances and conflict resolution.
5. Policy Formulation
- Draft, implement, and regularly update HR policies in alignment with company goals and statutory requirements.
- Ensure organization-wide adherence to HR policies and the code of conduct.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 35 years of HR experience, preferably in a startup or fintech environment.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR compliance.
- Hands-on experience with HR tools and software (e.g., Zoho People, Keka, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
