Role Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of LGT Holidays growing team, contributing to the development of a strong and scalable HR function.

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations across locations from the Chennai Head Office, ensuring smooth execution of recruitment, employee lifecycle processes, and compliance.

The role also involves driving overall HR effectiveness, including onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, vendor coordination, and statutory compliance.

Working closely with the HR Head and Management, this role plays an important part in strengthening organizational processes, building a positive workplace culture, and supporting business growth through effective HR practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee pan-India HR operations from the Head Office
  • Drive end-to-end recruitment through empanelled consultants and ensure timely closure of positions
  • Coordinate and monitor recruitment consultants performance and delivery
  • Work closely with HRMS consultants and other HR vendors for smooth execution
  • Ensure onboarding, documentation, and HR processes are completed efficiently
  • Maintain strict HR compliance, policies, and statutory requirements
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives
  • Support and implement training, development, and performance management processes
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the HR Head and Management
  • Take a proactive, ownership-driven approach to problem-solving and execution

Candidate Profile

  • MBA in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 4–8 years of experience in HR operations and recruitment
  • Proven experience in end-to-end HR operations and recruitment strategy execution
  • Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders (consultants, vendors, internal teams)
  • Hands-on experience in HR compliance and policy implementation
  • Proactive, execution-focused, and high ownership mindset
  • Experience in the travel & tourism industry will be an added advantage
  • HR certifications (SHRM, PHR, etc.) are a plus
