Job Description

Salary: ₹6 – 7.2 LPA 

Location: Gurgaon 

About the Role

We are looking for an HR Manager to set up and manage the HR function across the four companies. You will handle the full employee lifecycle across retail and corporate teams, ensure compliance, and help build a people-first culture. As the function grows, you will have the opportunity to build a team under you. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the end-to-end HR function across all four Amour Group companies — ibaby, Tickle Wickle, Vaas, and Sha-Ra 
  • Own talent acquisition for store and corporate roles across the group — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding 
  • Set up and maintain HR systems, policies, and standard operating procedures from scratch 
  • Administer payroll inputs, attendance tracking, and leave management in coordination with finance 
  • Manage all employee documentation — offer letters, appointment letters, contracts, and personnel files 
  • Lead the onboarding experience for new joiners across all group entities 
  • Drive performance management processes — appraisal cycles, documentation, and feedback frameworks 
  • Handle employee grievances with confidentiality, empathy, and timely resolution 
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable labour laws, PF, ESI, and all statutory requirements across entities 
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives — recognition, team events, and culture-building activities 
  • Partner with the leadership team on workforce planning, org design, and attrition management 
  • Build and mentor an HR team as the function and organisation scales 

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience with exposure to a generalist or standalone HR role 
  • Demonstrated ability to set up HR processes and policies independently 
  • Working knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliances (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments Act) 
  • Strong recruitment skills with active experience on LinkedIn, Naukri, or similar platforms 
  • Experience working with HR One HRMS is strongly preferred 
  • Excellent spoken and written English — professional communication is essential for this role 
  • Presentable, confident, and capable of representing HR across leadership and staff interactions 
  • High degree of integrity, discretion, and professionalism 
  • MBA in HR or equivalent post-graduate qualification preferred 

Good to Have

  • Experience managing HR across multiple entities or business units simultaneously 
  • Prior exposure to retail, consumer, or lifestyle industry HR 
  • Experience building an HR team from scratch
