Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and independent HR Manager to lead and execute the end-to-end HR function. This role is ideal for someone excited to shape HR from the ground upbuilding robust systems, scalable processes, and a culture that attracts and retains top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
- Collaborate with the founding team to define and implement forward-looking HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Help cultivate a high-performance, values-driven culture across the organization.
Talent Acquisition
- Own the recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employer branding.
- Design and implement effective hiring processes to attract top talent across technical and business domains.
HR Operations & Systems
- Set up and manage scalable HR systems, including HRMS tools and digital documentation.
- Oversee payroll coordination, leave tracking, and compliance-related processes.
Policy Development & Compliance
- Design and roll out HR policies, employee handbooks, and company guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulatory standards.
Performance Management & Appraisals
- Establish structured performance management systems, including OKRs, feedback loops, and appraisal frameworks.
- Support leadership and managers in goal-setting and team development initiatives.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Lead employee experience and engagement programs that promote belonging, feedback, and transparency.
- Act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for employees on HR matters, conflict resolution, and wellbeing.
Requirements:
- 46 years of experience in end-to-end HR management, preferably with exposure to tech or product-driven companies.
- Proven experience in setting up HR processes, systems, and culture from scratch.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to partner effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in HRMS tools and a strong understanding of employment laws and compliance.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in a high-ownership role within a startup or bootstrapped environment.
- Exposure to tech/deeptech hiring and organizational design.
