DSP Design is a leading architecture and interior design firm working across corporate interiors, hospitality, commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments PAN India. We are looking for a dynamic and people-centric HR Manager with strong experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) industry to drive talent, culture, people operations, and strategic HR initiatives.
Role Overview
The HR Manager will play a critical role in building and strengthening the organization's talent, culture, people practices, and HR systems. The role requires a strategic HR professional who can function both as an operational HR leader and a trusted HR Business Partner (HRBP) to the founders and leadership team.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in talent acquisition within the AEC industry, employee engagement, payroll coordination, performance management, people advisory, and organizational development while fostering a high-performance and collaborative work culture.
Key Responsibilities
Culture & Employee Engagement
- Drive organizational culture initiatives aligned with DSP Design values and vision.
- Act as a Culture Catalyst to strengthen collaboration, accountability, ownership, and employee engagement.
- Develop employee wellness, engagement, rewards, and recognition initiatives.
- Organize townhalls, employee connect programs, team-building activities, and internal communication initiatives.
- Build and promote a positive and high-performance work environment.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for architecture, interior design, engineering, project management, QS, BIM, and support functions.
- Develop hiring strategies aligned with business growth plans and project requirements.
- Build strong talent pipelines across PAN India locations.
- Coordinate with leadership teams for manpower planning and resource forecasting.
- Drive campus hiring, lateral hiring, leadership hiring, and strategic recruitment initiatives.
- Improve employer branding and candidate experience.
HR Business Partnering (HRBP)
- Act as a strategic HR advisor to founders, directors, and business leaders.
- Support leadership in organization structuring, succession planning, and team development.
- Partner with business heads to address people challenges and organizational effectiveness.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance concerns, team conflicts, and retention strategies.
- Align HR initiatives with business objectives and operational priorities.
Payroll & HR Operations
- Oversee monthly payroll inputs, attendance management, leave records, and HR compliance coordination.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in coordination with finance/accounts teams.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, contracts, and policy implementation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor HRMIS systems and employee lifecycle management processes.
Performance Management & People Development
- Drive KPI/KRA implementation and performance review processes.
- Support managers in goal-setting, performance discussions, and development planning.
- Identify training and capability-building requirements across teams.
- Support leadership development and employee growth initiatives.
Policies, Processes & Governance
- Develop and streamline HR policies, SOPs, and organizational frameworks.
- Build scalable HR systems and processes aligned with company growth.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical HR practices.
- Support founders with HR analytics, MIS reports, attrition analysis, hiring dashboards, and workforce insights.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience in Talent Acquisition within the AEC industry
- Good understanding of architecture, interiors, engineering, and project-based business environments
- Strong HRBP and stakeholder management capability
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong people management and employee engagement skills
- Experience in payroll coordination and HR operations

- PMC Firms will be preferred.
Qualification
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related field
- Additional certifications in HR, OD, or labor laws will be an advantage
Experience
- 8–15 years of relevant HR experience
- Minimum 5+ years experience in the AEC industry preferred
- Experience handling multi-location teams preferred
