Job Role - Human Resource Manager

SuperProfile is the all-in-one creator store — a creator economy platform designed to help content creators, brands, and agencies grow, monetize, and manage their audience at scale. With a 100+ member team and scaling rapidly, we're building something game-changing — and we need a seasoned HR leader who can own the entire people function, scale culture, and drive organizational excellence as we grow.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We're looking for a strategic, hands-on HR Manager who will function as the Head of the People function at SuperProfile. You'll own everything people — from building scalable HR systems and leading a growing HR team, to shaping organizational culture across 100+ employees and ensuring world-class talent operations. This isn't a support role; it's a leadership seat at the table.
We want someone who is deeply tech-savvy, AI-native in their approach to HR, and has ideally been through the chaos and excitement of scaling a Series A or Series B startup. If you think in systems, automate before you delegate, and genuinely care about people — not just policies — we want to talk to you.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Operational Excellence & HR Leadership
• Own end-to-end HR operations for a 100+ member organization — compliance, payroll, employee lifecycle, hiring, onboarding, and L&D
• Build, lead, and mentor the HR team across recruitment, training, employee engagement, and performance management
• Design and implement HR systems, workflows, and SOPs from scratch that scale with rapid organizational growth
• Ensure meticulous compliance with all Indian labor laws — PF, ESI, TDS, GST, Income Tax, and all statutory requirements
• Manage payroll processing with 100% accuracy, maintain employee records, and own the compliance calendar
• Partner closely with the CFO on people-related budgeting, headcount planning, and financial forecasting
Systems Building, Tech & AI Integration
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize HRIS, ATS, payroll, and performance management platforms — you pick the stack, not just use it
• Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline repetitive HR workflows — resume screening, onboarding sequences, engagement surveys, MIS reporting, and more
• Build self-serve HR systems and dashboards that reduce manual dependency and give leadership real-time visibility on people metrics
• Stay on top of emerging HR tech and AI trends; proactively pilot new tools that give SuperProfile an edge in talent operations
• Create data-driven hiring funnels with clear tracking — source-to-hire ratios, time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and cost-per-hire metrics
Culture, Talent & Organizational Development
• Design and implement a culture framework that is intentional, inclusive, and aligned with SuperProfile's fast-paced, Gen Z-friendly DNA
• Build robust hiring systems and employer branding strategies to attract top-tier talent at scale while maintaining cultural alignment
• Create structured training and development programs — leadership pipelines, skill-building tracks, and career pathing frameworks
• Establish trust-driven employee relations protocols, including grievance handling, conflict resolution, and skip-level conversations
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and conduct regular pulse checks across teams to identify gaps and opportunities
• Lead DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) efforts and ensure they are embedded into hiring, development, and day-to-day culture
Strategic HR & People Analytics
• Partner directly with the Founder and Chief of Ops to define the long-term HR strategy and people roadmap
• Lead policy creation and rollout — leave policies, performance management frameworks, benefits design, POSH compliance, and more
• Design and implement a robust performance management system with clear goal-setting, review cycles, and feedback mechanisms
• Build HR dashboards and MIS reports giving leadership real-time visibility on people metrics — attrition, engagement, hiring velocity, cost-per-hire, etc.
• Conduct regular analysis of team health, retention, and organizational design; present insights and action plans to leadership
Compliance & Governance
• Ensure seamless statutory compliance across all entities — TDS, GST, Income Tax, labor law adherence, and audit readiness
• Handle internal and external audits, secretarial processes, and regulatory filings with precision
• Stay proactively updated on compliance changes and implement necessary adjustments ahead of deadlines
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
• (mandatory)MBA in HR
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity
• Proven experience managing HR for teams of 100+ employees in a high-growth startup environment
• Prior experience at a Series A or Series B startup is strongly preferred — you understand the pace, the pivots, and the controlled chaos of scaling
• Strong expertise in Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, payroll management, and HR governance
• Demonstrated track record of building HR functions, systems, and processes from scratch — not just inheriting and maintaining them
• Tech-savvy and tool-first mindset — you're comfortable evaluating and implementing HRIS, ATS, payroll platforms, and productivity tools (e.g., Keka, Darwinbox, greytHR, Zoho People, or similar)
• AI-friendly and automation-oriented — you actively use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI, etc.) to improve speed, accuracy, and decision-making in HR workflows

• Ownership mentality — you don't wait for permission; you identify problems and fix them
• Strong leadership skills — ability to build, inspire, and manage a high-performing HR team
