Role Description

This is a full-time remote Human Resources Intern role supporting Mentorque's HR, people operations, and internal coordination.

The intern will assist with HR documentation, employee records, onboarding, HR policies, attendance and performance-related documentation, employee communication, and general personnel management.

This is not a role limited only to traditional HR work. The intern will also be expected to take ownership of certain operational responsibilities across the company, including:

  • Collecting updates and reports from different departments and maintaining structured daily/weekly reporting.
  • Following up with team members to ensure assigned updates, trackers, and reports are submitted on time.
  • Consolidating departmental information for management review.
  • Coordinating between HR, Sales, Operations, and other teams wherever required.
  • Supporting sales pipeline-building activities, including calling leads/prospects, conducting initial conversations, following up, and helping move qualified prospects into the sales pipeline.
  • Maintaining accurate call, lead, and follow-up records in the relevant CRM or tracking sheets.
  • Supporting additional operational responsibilities based on changing business requirements.

The role requires someone who is comfortable communicating with people, following up persistently, working with numbers and reports, and taking ownership beyond a fixed HR checklist.

Qualifications

  • Foundational understanding of Human Resources and HR Management.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain employee records, trackers, reports, and documentation accurately.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with prospective customers as part of sales pipeline-building activities.
  • Comfortable following up with employees and different departments for reports, updates, and deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across HR, reporting, operations, and sales support.
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets, digital tools, CRMs, and remote collaboration platforms.
  • Proactive, accountable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where responsibilities may extend beyond traditional HR activities.
  • Prior internship, sales, HR, operations, or administrative experience is a plus.
