Human Resource Intern

Location: Indiranagar, Bengaluru

Duration: 6 Months

Stipend: 6,000 8,000 per month

A-THON Allterrain Pvt. Ltd. is an innovation-driven mobility company focused on developing engineered-in-India, Made-in-India all-terrain mobility solutions for agriculture, defence, and extreme terrain applications.

Our mission is to build robust, intelligent, and modular mobility platforms that can operate in environments where traditional vehicles struggle including farms, plantations, rugged terrains, and mission-critical operational zones.

In alignment with India's IDDM (Indigenously Designed, Developed and Manufactured) initiative under the Make in India vision, A-THON is committed to building high indigenous content vehicles and technologies within the country.

The company is also working towards developing mobility platforms and autonomous capabilities for defence and strategic applications, supporting India's vision of strengthening indigenous defence technology and operational mobility.

A-THON is currently collaborating with ARTPARK and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) to develop Assisted Autonomous Agriculture Vehicles (AAAVs) and advanced robotic mobility systems.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Human Resource Intern who will support the HR function in building strong people processes within a fast-growing startup environment.

At A-THON, HR is not just about paperwork it plays a key role in building teams, shaping culture, and supporting the company's growth journey.

In this role, you will get hands-on exposure to recruitment, HR operations, employee engagement, and organizational processes.

You will work closely with the leadership and team members, helping ensure that the company continues to build a strong, collaborative, and high-performing team.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, people-oriented, curious about human behavior, and interested in understanding how startups build teams and culture from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Assist in sourcing candidates for various roles across the organization

Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication

Support the screening of resumes and initial candidate evaluations

Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers

Assist in managing job postings across platforms and recruitment channels

HR Operations & Documentation

Support the preparation of HR documents such as offer letters, internship letters, and HR records

Maintain employee data and HR documentation in an organized manner

Assist in onboarding coordination for new hires

Help ensure HR processes and documentation are maintained systematically

Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture

Assist in planning small employee engagement activities and initiatives

Help maintain a positive and collaborative workplace environment

Support internal communications and HR announcements

Assist with activities that help strengthen team bonding and company culture

HR Research & Process Development

Support research on HR best practices, policies, and processes

Assist in creating structured HR systems suitable for a startup environment

Contribute ideas that can improve recruitment efficiency, employee experience, and workplace productivity

Startup HR Exposure

Since A-THON is a growing startup, HR responsibilities can go beyond traditional roles. The intern may also get opportunities to assist with:

Team coordination and internal communication

Event or exhibition HR support

Employee documentation and compliance processes

Organizational development initiatives
