Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Generalist with experience in the IT industry who can drive employee communication and engagement across a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. The role requires someone who can effectively connect with employees across teams (developers, QA, product, etc.) and ensure seamless communication between employees and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for employee communication and HR-related queries

Drive employee engagement initiatives tailored for IT teams (townhalls, tech team connect sessions, virtual events)

Manage end-to-end onboarding for tech hires (developers, engineers, support staff)

Partner with managers to support performance management cycles (KRAs, appraisals, feedback)

Handle employee relations, address concerns, and ensure a positive work environment.

Draft and manage internal communications (emails, newsletters, HR announcements, policy updates)

Support HR operations: attendance, leave tracking, HRMS updates, documentation

Assist in implementing HR policies aligned with IT industry practices

Coordinate with recruitment teams to ensure a smooth candidate-to-employee transition

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–3 years of HR Generalist experience in an IT/Tech company (mandatory)Excellent verbal and written communication skills (critical for this role)Strong understanding of IT work culture and employee expectations

Experience in employee engagement and internal communications. Familiarity with HRMS tools and Microsoft Office, Knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices

Preferred Skils

Experience handling tech teams (developers, engineers, product teams), Exposure to fast-paced/startup IT environments, and ability to manage remote/hybrid workforce communication

Basic understanding of IT roles and terminology

Key Competencies: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, High emotional intelligence and empathy, Problem-solving and conflict resolution ability, Proactive and adaptable mindset

Educational Qualifications

MBA in HR
