Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and professional HR Manager to join our company. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth and success of our organization by overseeing human resources functions, managing administrative tasks, and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

  1. Lead the recruitment process- interacting & scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
  3. Efficiently manage the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for all employees.
  4. Maintain comprehensive records of employee reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial transactions.
  5. Develop and establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain consistent workflows across the organization.
  6. Develop and implement company policies that enhance organizational reputation and align with legal regulations, fostering a culture of ethical and compliant practices.
  7. Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and queries.
  8. Facilitate performance management processes by conducting monthly one-one-one's, assisting in the development of performance improvement plans.
  9. Assist in resolving employee relations issues by providing guidance and ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.

Administrative:

  1. Oversee office operations, including maintenance, supplies, equipment, and facilities management.
  2. Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, and itineraries for employees and visitors.
  3. Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and processing expenses.
  4. Manage communication channels within the organization, ensuring timely dissemination of important information.
  5. Support the preparation and coordination of company events, workshops, and team-building activities.
  6. Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure efficient delivery of services.

Employee Engagement:

  1. Contribute to creating a positive work environment by implementing engagement initiatives, promoting a culture of collaboration, and recognizing employee achievements.
  2. Participate in the planning and execution of employee wellness programs and initiatives.
  3. Proactively address employee concerns and feedback to enhance overall satisfaction and morale.

Compliance:

  1. Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure HR policies and practices are in compliance.
  2. Assist in the development and revision of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
  3. Working for a foodtech company, you must be informed about the particular state's updated laws, and all the necessary licences required by the company to function according to the compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience (1+ years) in human resources and administrative roles, preferably in the food or technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellence in Excel, Powerpoint, MS Word.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex and dynamic environments.
