About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, payroll coordination, and compliance. The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating a positive work culture and ensuring smooth HR processes that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing needs.
  • Post job openings on relevant platforms and manage vendor or consultant relationships.
  • Conduct employee onboarding, induction, and orientation programs.

  • 2. Employee Engagement & Retention

    • Plan and execute employee engagement activities, celebrations, and feedback programs.
    • Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews to understand employee satisfaction and turnover.
    • Maintain a positive work culture and serve as the first point of contact for employee grievances.

  • 3. HR Operations

    • Maintain and update employee records, attendance, and leave management systems.
    • Prepare HR letters (offer, confirmation, increment, and relieving letters).
    • Support payroll processing by coordinating attendance, leaves, and deductions.
    • Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures.

  • 4. Compliance & Documentation

    • Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.) in coordination with finance and vendors.
    • Keep track of labour law updates and ensure adherence.
    • Maintain confidentiality of employee data and sensitive HR information.

  • 5. Performance & Learning

    • Support performance review cycles and appraisal documentation.
    • Assist in training coordination and employee development initiatives.

  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or MBA in Human Resources or related field.
    • 13 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in a startup or SME environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of HRMS tools and MS Office Suite.
    • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
