Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and organized HR Executive to support our human resource operations within the food technology sector. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end HR activities including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and training for technical and non-technical roles within a food manufacturing environment.

Salary Range: 20,000 to 30,000 per month

* Must be specialized in hiring/recruitment

* Should be able to independently handle end-to-end recruitment activities

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

Manage recruitment for food technologists, QA/QC personnel, production staff, and

other roles.

Develop job descriptions, post vacancies, screen resumes, and schedule interviews.

Conduct employee onboarding, induction, and documentation.

HR Operations

Maintain and update employee records and HRMIS.

Process attendance, leave, and payroll data in coordination with finance.

Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and exit formalities.

Performance Management

Coordinate performance appraisals, goal setting, and KPI tracking.

Assist in implementing performance improvement plans.

Training & Development

Identify training needs in collaboration with production and R&D heads.

Organize technical and soft skills training programs for staff.

Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.

Compliance & Policy Implementation

Ensure compliance with labor laws, food industry safety regulations, and internal HR

policies.

Assist in audits related to HR, food safety, and occupational health (e.g., FSSAI, HACCP,

ISO).

Support EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) initiatives in collaboration with operations

teams.

Education:

Bachelor's or master's in human resource management, Business Administration, or

related field.

Additional certifications in labor laws or HR analytics are a plus.

Experience:

13 years of HR experience, preferably in the food processing, FMCG, or manufacturing

industry.

Familiarity with factory HR processes and compliance.

Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Understanding of food industry-specific roles and recruitment needs.

Proficiency in MS Office, HR software (HRMS), and payroll systems.

Knowledge of applicable labor laws and HR best practices.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience working in a factory or plant HR setup.

Ability to handle blue-collar and white-collar workforce management.

Familiarity with hygiene, safety, and food industry compliance frameworks (HACCP, ISO,

BRC, etc.).

Working Conditions:

Office-based with regular visits to production floors and labs.

May require occasional travel for recruitment drives, training, or audits.
