Job Description – HR Executive

Location: Bangalore Corporate Office

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: HR Manager / Head – Human Resources

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The HR Executive will be responsible for supporting end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management coordination, HR documentation, statutory compliance support, attendance and leave management, and employee relations. The role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a people-oriented approach.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for corporate and branch positions.
  • Source candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
  • Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers.
  • Conduct preliminary HR interviews and candidate assessments.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate databases.
  • Ensure timely closure of vacancies.
Employee Onboarding & Induction
  • Coordinate joining formalities and documentation.
  • Conduct employee induction and orientation programs.
  • Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and other employment-related documents.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding of new employees.
HR Operations
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Manage attendance, leave records, and employee data.
  • Generate HR reports and MIS as required by management.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of employee records.
Employee Engagement & Relations
  • Organize employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs.
  • Address employee queries and provide HR support.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
  • Support grievance handling and conflict resolution processes.
Performance Management Support
  • Assist in performance appraisal processes.
  • Coordinate with department heads for goal setting and review cycles.
  • Maintain performance records and reports.
Compliance & Policy Administration
  • Ensure adherence to company HR policies and procedures.
  • Support compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining HR audits and compliance records.
  • Support disciplinary and corrective action processes when required.
Training & Development
  • Coordinate employee training programs and workshops.
  • Track training attendance and effectiveness.
  • Assist in identifying training needs across departments.
Desired Candidate ProfileEducational Qualification
  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, MSW (HR), or equivalent.
  • Graduate with relevant HR experience may also be considered.
Experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience in multi-location recruitment and HR operations preferred.
  • Experience in retail, financial services, gold buying, NBFC, or service industries will be an added advantage.
Skills Required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of recruitment and HR processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of HRMS software.
  • Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
