Role Overview
You will be the custodian of culture at EGI, responsible for recruitment, people operations, performance energy, and maintaining a team atmosphere where hard work and hard play coexist.
This role is for someone who can balance warmth with discipline, culture with compliance, and people-first thinking with business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Own the full recruitment pipeline: sourcing, screening, scheduling, and closing.
- Write sharp, clear job descriptions and align closely with founders/hiring managers.
- Conduct smooth onboarding with strong documentation, induction, and culture-setting from Day 1.
2. HR Operations & Discipline
- Maintain accurate attendance, leave, and employee record systems.
- Handle payroll inputs and coordinate with finance on time.
- Manage HR documentation,contracts, letters, compliance forms,without delays.
- Ensure employees follow standards of discipline, punctuality, and office behaviour.
3. Culture, Engagement & Office Vibe
- Build a strong culture of accountability, presentation, teamwork, and ambition.
- Plan and execute fun, meaningful engagement activities that match EGI's energy.
- Be the go-to person for people issues, listen well, respond fast, and act fairly.
- Maintain an environment where high performers thrive and low performers are corrected quickly.
4. Compliance & Processes
- Ensure all HR practices comply with labour laws.
- Prepare for HR audits and maintain policy documentation.
- Implement and enforce company policies professionally and consistently.
5. Performance & Growth
- Support performance reviews, appraisals, and feedback cycles.
- Identify training needs and coordinate development programs.
- Help build a team that grows with the company's long-term vision.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or relevant field.
- 13 years of hands-on HR experience.
- Excellent communication and people-handling skills, empathetic but firm.
- Presentable, proactive, disciplined, and high-energy.
- Strong understanding of workplace culture, confidentiality, and performance expectations.
- Someone who naturally uplifts good talent and takes clear action with non-performers.
