Byufuel is a first mile aggregation start-up focused on the collection of Used cooking oil (UCO) directly at source. We work with suppliers such as restaurants, Food businesses, and Hotel Chains to enable structured, compliant and efficient UCO Collection. By leveraging technology and strong on ground operations, we aim to bring transparency, traceability, and scale to the UCO ecosystem while supporting sustainability and circular economy initiatives.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on HR Executive to join ByuFuel and support our growing team. As an early-stage start-up, this role will involve managing end-to-end HR operations, with a strong focus on recruitment, employee lifecycle management, and HR process execution.

This is an on-site role requiring someone who is comfortable working closely with business teams and handling day-to-day HR activities independently.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end to end hiring for field and corporate roles including sourcing, screening, Interview coordination, offer rollout and Onboarding.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle: Handle Day to day HR activities such as employee records, attendance and leave tracking, documentation, Onboarding, exits, and addressing employee queries.

Payroll & Compliance Support: Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, assist in payroll processing, and support statutory compliance (PF etc.) in coordination with Finance or external vendors.

Employee Engagement & HR Initiatives: Supportemployeeengagement activities, internal communications, and implementation of HR policies and basic HR processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in recruitment and general HR activities
  • Basic understanding of payroll processing and statutory components
  • Experience working in a start-up or fast-paced environment is a plus
  • Strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills
  • Comfortable handling multiple responsibilities independently
  • Proficient in MS Excel and basic HR documentation
