Job Summary:
We are seeking a smart, polite, and people-oriented HR Business Partner (HRBP) to manage the Human Resource function for our PWGurukulam. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between the school leadership and central HR, ensuring seamless execution of all HR processes. The role demands strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to manage day-to-day HR operations efficiently while maintaining professional relationships with the Principal, teachers, and non-academic staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the Principal and school management team.
- Handle interactions with the Principal in a polite, respectful, and solution-oriented manner.
- Act as a trusted HR partner for teachers and non-academic staff, addressing their day-to-day queries and concerns effectively.
HR Operations:
- Oversee attendance, leave, documentation, and employee database management.
- Ensure smooth execution of onboarding, induction, and exit processes.
- Manage end-to-end HR compliance and ensure timely submission of reports and updates.
- Partner with the central HR team to implement policies, performance management systems, and organizational initiatives.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Handle employee grievances with sensitivity and fairness.
- Conduct regular interactions with teaching and non-teaching staff to maintain engagement and satisfaction.
- Support and organize engagement activities, celebrations, and training sessions within the school.
- Promote a culture of transparency, discipline, and collaboration across all school teams.
Recruitment & Staffing:
- Coordinate with central HR and recruitment teams to support staffing needs for teachers and support staff.
- Participate in interviews, documentation, and onboarding formalities.
Travel Requirement:
- This role also requires travel to multiple Gurukulam locations as and when required to support on-ground HR activities and ensure alignment with company standards.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role.
- Prior experience in the Education / School / Academic sector will be an added advantage.
