About the Role :-

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will partner with Category, Growth, and Business Leaders to design and execute people strategies and talent plans that drive business performance. This role owns end-to-end people strategy execution, with a strong focus on employee retention, attrition management, and high-performance culture.

Location: Chennai, Work from Office

Responsibilities

  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Lead all stages of the employee lifecycle including workforce planning, performance management, engagement, retention, and offboarding to ensure a consistent and positive employee experience
  • Attrition & Retention Management: Analyze attrition trends, identify risk areas, and implement targeted retention strategies; drive proactive engagement and corrective actions to reduce regretted attrition
  • Business Partnership: Work closely with BU/Practice and Delivery Leaders to drive people processes, culture, and performance across the business unit
  • Organization Design & Workforce Planning: Partner with leaders to define optimal org structures and staffing plans aligned with the annual operating plan
  • Talent Management: Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and capability-building initiatives to create competitive differentiation
  • Manager Coaching: Act as a coach to people managers to strengthen leadership effectiveness and deliver best-in-class employee experience
  • Culture & Engagement: Champion company values and drive initiatives focused on engagement, inclusion, wellbeing, and a high-performance culture
  • HR Operations & Metrics: Oversee HR operations, policy governance, compliance, and track key HR metrics (attrition, engagement, performance) to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in a high-impact HRBP role in IT/Tech.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently design and execute people strategies
  • Deep functional expertise in performance management, talent management, organizational behavior, retention, and attrition management
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations across regions
  • Proven ability to translate business goals into effective HR strategies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience managing HR teams and driving continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical capability with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • High standards of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
