Role : Assistant Manager - Human Resources Business Partner

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our HR team. The HRBP will work closely with business leaders and employees to foster a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in HR, with a strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Sales leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and support the growth of the sales organization.
• Support HR initiatives focused on employee retention, engagement, recognition, performance management, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI).
• Act as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and employee relations matters.
• Drive and implement employee engagement initiatives for the sales team to enhance motivation, productivity, and workplace culture.
• Collaborate with sales managers on workforce planning, team structuring, and headcount planning.
• Partner with business leaders to support career progression, succession planning, and talent development for high-potential employees.
• Assist in managing and resolving employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
• Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans (PIPs).
• Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure timely hiring and smooth onboarding of sales hires.
• Manage and facilitate employee induction and onboarding to ensure seamless integration of new joiners.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR processes.
• Support organizational change management initiatives in a fast-paced and rapidly growing EdTech environment.
• Maintain and manage employee data, HR workflows, and HR processes through the HRMS portal (Darwinbox), ensuring accurate and timely updates.

Requirement:

• 4+ years of HRBP experience, ideally in a high-growth organization
• Experience partnering with / advising mid-level managers
• Solution-focused thinking, empathy, strong judgement, and decision making skills
• Strong organizational development experience supporting team effectiveness
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills including experience building relationships at all levels of the organization
