Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to act as a strategic and operational partner to business leaders. The role will cover end-to-end HR generalist responsibilities, supporting employees and managers across the employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws and alignment with business goals.

The ideal candidate will combine hands-on HR execution with the ability to advise stakeholders on people strategy, performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Business Partnering

  • Partner with business leaders to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on people matters, including workforce planning, employee relations, and organizational design.
  • Support change management initiatives and business transformation projects.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmation, performance management, career development, and exits.
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and feedback cycles.
  • Support talent reviews, succession planning, and internal mobility.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Handle employee relations issues, grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and high employee engagement.
  • Support implementation of engagement surveys and action plans.

Compensation, Policies & Compliance

  • Support compensation planning, promotions, and annual salary review cycles.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Indian labor laws (Shops & Establishments Act, POSH, PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

HR Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to HR process improvement and HR system enhancements.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HRBP or HR Generalist role.
  • Experience supporting managers and employees in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to HR systems (HRIS), performance management tools, and engagement platforms.
