HR Business Partner (HRBP)

Role Summary

At AssetPlus, the HR Business Partner will work closely with leaders across B2B, B2C, Business Development, Marketing, Product & Technology, and Operations & Support to enable business outcomes through strong people practices.

This role focuses on driving team effectiveness, improving manager capability, and ensuring people processes are consistently applied as the organization scales. The HRBP will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, balancing growth priorities with sustainable team practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand team goals (growth, AUM, product delivery, ops efficiency) and translate them into people priorities
  • Act as a thought partner on org design, team structure, and role clarity
  • Identify and proactively manage risks such as attrition, burnout, and performance gaps
  • Drive manager effectiveness through strong 1:1 practices, feedback quality, and team engagement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition (TA) on workforce planning, hiring needs, and quality of hires
  • Work closely with HR Operations to ensure smooth onboarding, exits, and policy adherence
  • Drive adoption of performance management processes and ensure consistency in goal setting and reviews
  • Drive leadership development initiatives for freshers, managers, emerging leaders, leadership categories
  • Support talent reviews, succession discussions, and internal mobility conversations
  • Leverage data (attrition trends, engagement signals, performance insights) to identify patterns and drive interventions
  • Use insights from dashboards, stay/exit interviews, and business connects to inform decisions
  • Support change management initiatives including team restructuring, role changes, and new function setups
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, conflict resolution, and sensitive people matters

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 8–10 years of HR experience, with strong business partnering exposure
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to use data and insights to drive decisions
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-paced setups

Nice to Have

  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or partner-driven businesses
  • Exposure to Sales, Product, and Operations teams
  • Familiarity with HR analytics tools and dashboards
