Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced EHS Manager to lead / support Environment, Health & Safety operations across our commercial & residential real estate portfolio across Pan India. The role involves ensuring statutory compliance, managing fire safety operations, and leading a team of Fire Officers to maintain a safe, compliant, and sustainable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
EHS Governance & Compliance
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and standards aligned with statutory requirements and industry best practices.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable EHS laws and regulations, including fire safety, environmental norms, and occupational health standards.
- Maintain and update statutory registers, licenses, and approvals (e.g., Fire NOC, Consent to Operate, Hazardous Waste Authorization, etc.).
- Implement and maintain management systems in line with ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety Management).
Fire Safety Management
- Provide subject matter expert to the site Fire & Safety Officers to manage multiple commercial sites.
- Conduct fire risk assessments, fire drills, and emergency preparedness programs.
- Ensure maintenance and readiness of fire protection systems and coordinate with local fire authorities.
Incident Management
- Investigate incidents and near misses; recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain incident records and prepare monthly EHS performance dashboards.
Training & Awareness
- Conduct EHS induction and periodic training for employees, contractors, and vendors.
- Drive safety culture through awareness campaigns and behavioral safety initiatives.
Audits & Inspections
- Plan and conduct internal EHS audits and inspections.
- Support external audits and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.
Sustainability & Environmental Initiatives
- Support external audits and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering / science / environmental studies.
- Diploma in Industrial Safety (mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years of EHS experience, preferably in commercial real estate, facilities management, or infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.
- Proven track record in managing statutory compliance and fire safety operations.

Preferred Certifications:
- NEBOSH IGC / IOSH-MS
- First Aid / Fire Safety certifications
