Role Overview
The HR Manager will be responsible for driving core HR functions with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition, Employee Onboarding, Employee Engagement, and People Leadership, while also supporting Vendor Management, Administration, and Payroll coordination. This role will partner closely with business leaders to build a high-performing, people-first organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition
- Own end-to-end recruitment across functions (tech, marketing, operations, sales, corporate roles).
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring timelines.
- Manage sourcing strategies, screening, interviews, and offer rollouts.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline and employer brand.
- Track hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, offer-to-join ratio, and quality of hire.
- Employee Onboarding & Lifecycle Management
- Drive seamless onboarding for new hires, including documentation, orientation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ensure smooth employee lifecycle processes: confirmations, role changes, exits, and
documentation.
- Maintain accurate HR records and employee data.
- Employee Engagement & Culture
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives to improve morale, culture, and retention.
- Run feedback mechanisms (surveys, check-ins) and propose action plans.
- Support performance review cycles and employee development initiatives.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted HR partner to leadership and people managers.
- Coach managers on people issues, performance management, and team building.
- Support organizational planning and workforce strategy.
- Vendor Management
- Manage and coordinate with HR-related vendors (recruitment partners, payroll vendors, insurance
providers, consultants, etc.).
- Ensure timely renewals, service quality, and cost efficiency.
- Administration & Compliance
- Oversee HR operations, policies, and administrative processes.
- Ensure statutory compliance and HR governance.
- Manage office-related HR administration in coordination with admin teams.
- Payroll Support
- Coordinate with finance and payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Support salary revisions, incentives, and employee queries related to payroll.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in HR Manager with strong exposure to Talent Acquisition and HR Operations.
- Experience in startups or high-growth environments preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Hands-on, solution-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
