Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on HR Manager who will run the entire HR engine for our team. This role is not about policies—it is about execution, ownership, and solving real business problems through HR.
You will work closely with the CHRO and manage a small HR team, taking complete ownership of hiring, employee lifecycle, HR operations, and performance management.
What You'll Own
1. Hiring
- End-to-end hiring across functions
- Sourcing, screening, stakeholder management, and closures
- Strong negotiation & joining conversion
- Maintaining hiring pipelines with speed and discipline
2. Employee Lifecycle
- Seamless onboarding to exit management
- Running structured induction plans
- Managing employee concerns, feedback, and exits
3. HR Operations & Team Management
- Managing HR team (HR Ops + Admin support)
- Ensuring payroll, attendance, and documentation run smoothly
- Driving accountability and ownership
4. Performance Management
- Driving goal setting, reviews, and appraisal cycles
- Following up with managers to ensure execution
- Building a feedback-driven culture
5. HRMS, Processes & Data
- Owning HRMS usage and improvements
- Building HR dashboards (hiring, attrition, etc.)
- Driving process efficiency and automation
6. Employee Experience & Culture
- Designing meaningful engagement initiatives (beyond events)
- Handling employee relations and conflict resolution
- Strengthening culture through everyday practices
7. Learning & Development
- Identify training needs and implement learning and development programs.
- Track effectiveness and continuously improve capability-building initiatives.
8. Team Management & Ownership
- Manage the HR team, including HR Ops and Admin support
- Drive clear role clarity, accountability, and performance within the team
- Ensure smooth execution across functions
- Act as the first point of escalation for all HR-related matters before involving the CHRO
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 4–7 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong experience in Hiring and HR operations
- Has managed at least 1–2 team members
- High ownership, maturity, and problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable handling ambiguity and multiple priorities
- Experience in startup/D2C/FMCG etc. preferred
