About The Opportunity
A fast-growing digital media & technology firm operating in the Digital Marketing and Product Development sector. We build digital experiences and marketing solutions for consumer and enterprise clients, balancing creative execution with measurable business outcomes. The role is based in India on a hybrid work model and sits at the nexus of talent, operations, and culture.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition: define role profiles, run competency-based hiring, manage ATS workflows, and reduce time-to-fill for critical roles.
- Execute HR operations including payroll coordination, leave & attendance, HRIS administration, and statutory compliance for India.
- Design and run performance management cycles (PMS/OKRs), calibration sessions, and career-development programs to boost retention and productivity.
- Own employee relations: manage grievances, conduct investigations, and implement engagement initiatives that strengthen culture in a hybrid environment.
- Partner with business leaders to build workforce plans, compensation recommendations, and onboarding/offboarding processes aligned with company goals.
- Drive HR process improvements and people analyticsproduce actionable dashboards, HR metrics, and automation to scale HR services.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience managing HR operations and talent acquisition in India (hybrid/startup or agency experience preferred).
- Practical knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance (ESI, PF, TDS, Shops & Establishment).
- Hands-on with HRIS administration and data management to maintain accurate employee records and reporting.
- Experience with ATS platforms and structured interviewing techniques for competency-based hiring.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and coordination with payroll vendors to ensure timely, accurate payroll runs.
- Ability to translate people metrics into recommendationsexperience building HR dashboards or basic people-analytics.
Preferred
- HR certification (SHRM/PHR) or equivalent training in HR practices.
- Experience scaling HR processes in high-growth digital/agency environments and supporting hybrid remote teams.
- Exposure to HR automation or analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Google Sheets).
