We are looking for an experienced HR Lead who can seamlessly blend strategic HR thinking with operational excellence. You will be the people backbone of the organisation — building culture, managing the full employee lifecycle, and partnering with leadership to drive a high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement people strategy aligned with business growth
- Design, review, and enforce HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance frameworks
- Own end-to-end payroll management — ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle: onboarding, performance management, promotions, and exits
- Drive talent acquisition strategy in collaboration with hiring managers
- Lead employee engagement, culture-building, and retention initiatives
- Handle HR operations including HRIS management, documentation, and reporting
- Manage statutory compliance — PF, ESI, Gratuity, and labour law adherence
- Lead organisational development (OD) initiatives — capability building, L&D programmes, and succession planning
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on all HR-related matters
Requirements
- 5–8 years of HR experience across both strategic and operational functions
- Proven expertise in payroll processing and statutory compliance
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in India
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement HR policies from scratch
- Experience working in a fast-growing startup or product technology company preferred
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- MBA in HR or a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources preferred
- Proficiency with HRIS tools such as Darwinbox, Keka, Zoho People, or similar
