Job Description

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Administration

  • Oversee employee onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, and exits.
  • Maintain employee records, HRMIS, attendance, leave, and shift rosters.
  • Implement HR policies, SOPs, and documentation management.

Payroll & Compensation

  • Coordinate payroll processing with accounts or vendors.
  • Ensure timely salary disbursement, incentives, overtime, and deductions.
  • Handle PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, and wage revisions.

Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws

  • Ensure compliance with Factory Act, CLRA, Shops & Establishment Act, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages, Bonus Act, etc.
  • Manage inspections, audits, and liaison with labour authorities.
  • Ensure contractor labour compliance and documentation.

Industrial Relations (IR)

  • Maintain cordial employee relations at plant level.
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and counseling.
  • Support union/worker interactions if applicable.

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs for shop-floor and staff employees.
  • Coordinate skill development, safety, hygiene, and GMP training.
  • Support performance appraisal and competency development initiatives.

Employee Engagement & Welfare

  • Drive employee engagement, celebrations, and welfare programs.
  • Monitor absenteeism, attrition, and productivity indicators.
  • Support CSR and statutory welfare initiatives.

Health, Safety & Food Compliance Support

  • Support EHS, food safety, hygiene, and statutory health check programs.
  • Ensure HR alignment with FSSAI, GMP, and audit requirements.
