Key Responsibilities
- Store Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records (RM, WIP, FG) using ERP systems
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials
- Implement FIFO/FEFO methods where applicable
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and coordinate with procurement
- Inventory Control:
- Reduce inventory discrepancies and wastage
- Ensure proper documentation of inward outward material movements
- Track slow-moving and non-moving inventory
- Prepare MIS reports on stock status and consumption
- Logistics Dispatch:
- Plan and coordinate dispatch schedules as per production and client requirements
- Manage transportation vendors and negotiate freight costs
- Ensure timely delivery of finished goods to customers
- Handle export/import documentation if applicable
- Vendor Transport Management:
- Develop and manage relationships with logistics partners and suppliers
- Monitor transporter performance and optimize logistics costs
- Compliance Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and warehouse regulations
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance (GST, e-way bills, etc.)
- Implement SOPs for store and logistics operations
- Team Management:
- Lead and supervise store and logistics staff
- Train team on processes, safety, and systems
- Ensure discipline and productivity within the team
