Head – Thematic Curriculum (IB/CBSE)

Role Overview

The Head of Primary Years Thematic Curriculum will lead the vision, design, and large-scale implementation of an integrated, inquiry-led thematic learning program in the primary years across 170 schools.

This role combines curriculum leadership, academic quality assurance, and on-ground execution, ensuring that the program is not only well-designed but also meaningfully implemented in classrooms.

The role requires a strong foundation in IB/PYP philosophy and practices, adapted effectively within a CBSE context, and the ability to drive teacher capacity building, audits, and continuous improvement systems at scale.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's / Master's in Education or related field
• IB-certified (PYP workshops/training strongly preferred)

Experience:

• 8–12+ years in primary education
• Strong experience in IB / PYP schools
• Proven experience in a leadership role preferably at an IB school (curriculum head, coordinator, or equivalent)
• Experience in curriculum design + teacher training + school implementation
• Exposure to CBSE curriculum frameworks is essential
