Job Description

  • Define and execute a comprehensive partnerships and alliances strategy aligned to business growth
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize technology partners across agritech, deep-tech, and innovation ecosystems
  • Maintain an active view of the Indian and global agritech landscape, including startups, funding trends, and technologies
  • Advise product planning teams on build vs. buy vs. partner decisions at early roadmap stages
  • Lead end-to-end partnership discussions including negotiations and commercial structuring
  • Evaluate deal structures such as controlling stakes, minority investments, licensing, and joint ventures
  • Collaborate with internal M&A and transaction teams to execute approved partnership models
  • Represent the organization at industry forums, VC events, and agritech conferences
  • Ensure successful integration of partner technologies into existing product portfolios
  • Monitor partnership performance and provide regular strategic updates to senior leadership
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing partnerships and alliances team

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head Partnerships & Alliances should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Technology, or a related discipline MBA preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in partnerships, alliances, corporate strategy, M&A, or business development
  • Strong exposure to agritech, precision farming, IoT, drones, or adjacent technology domains
  • Proven ability to assess startups on commercial, financial, and cultural fit parameters
  • High financial acumen with familiarity across multiple deal and investment structures
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with credibility across founders, investors, and executives
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capability
