As a Strategy Lead you will play a pivotal role in driving high-impact initiatives, solving complex business problems, and supporting executive decision-making. This role requires a structured thinker with a strong business acumen, preferably with consulting experience, and the ability to work cross-functionally with leadership across editorial, digital, sales, and product functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define a 3-5 year Strategy roadmap for the business (adjacency expansion-organic & inorganic, new revenue streams)
- Identify & detail growth opportunities for core business and new opportunities, platforms and adjacencies. Evaluate and flesh out the scoping for new verticals, revenue streams, audience initiatives etc.
- Lead and deliver high-stakes strategic projects with direct visibility to CXOs. Build CEO dashboards for tracking business metrics and track industry and competition for strategic inputs for operating teams
- Drive a repository of Deep knowledge of global media , AI and technology trends and how they are relevant for our business.
- Structure and solve business problems using a data-driven, analytical approach.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on strategic priorities.
- Drive strategic planning cycles, including OKRs, business reviews, and board-level presentations.
- Project manage assigned initiatives, monitor performance metrics and recommend course-corrections based on insights.
Experience
- 10–14 years of experience in strategy consulting, preferably across media, digital platforms, or telecom, would be ideal for this role.
- Prior exposure to Media, AI, Technology, CTV, OTT or large-scale digital transformation initiatives will be strongly preferred, as it will enable the individual to bring a strong strategic lens, market understanding and execution-oriented problem-solving approach in a fast-evolving digital ecosystem.
