JOB OVERVIEW
The Head – Sales & Marketing will lead the company's sales and marketing function, developing strategies to achieve revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strong customer relationships. This role involves leading the sales team, driving branding initiatives, overseeing key accounts, and ensuring alignment of sales objectives with organizational goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Strategy & Planning – Develop and implement annual sales and marketing strategies to achieve business targets.
- Market Development – Identify new markets, customer segments, and opportunities for business expansion.
- Customer Relationship Management – Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership – Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing team to deliver on performance goals.
- Branding & Promotion – Oversee marketing campaigns, digital presence, and participation in trade shows/exhibitions.
- Sales Operations & Forecasting – Monitor sales performance, manage pricing strategies, and prepare revenue forecasts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Coordinate with Production, SCM, and Finance to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting & Governance – Present regular sales performance reports to top management and recommend improvement actions.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- MBA in Marketing / Sales or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 12–15 years of proven experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in Module or cell manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales, customer relationship management, and marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital marketing platforms.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
