Purpose:
Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing R&D Product Development team in India. Focus on the development of a growth-oriented portfolio across all our business lines. Align strategies and processes with global development centres for product development, including technology, ingredient and botanicals development. Support scientific credibility to build a favourable reputation for Amway science and products. Align with key stakeholders, including MD, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, and Supply Chain to meet growth priorities.
Lead the product development team in alignment with the Business Line Product Development Leaders at center, and as a member of the India Executive Team. Provide a single Product Development voice for communication, alignment and support of LRBP strategies, key priorities, risks and capability improvements. Align with key stakeholders to identify and develop innovative products and solutions aligned with local business needs and work together to drive execution of Core product coming from the center Team. Responsible for developing organizational capabilities to deliver innovative, regionally relevant and differentiated, high impact products and solutions that result in increased revenue and enhanced ABO engagement.

Provide relevant market insights to Center, partner with Center Product Development leaders to build strategy and innovation plans and implement the global and local innovation for Emerging Markets

- Inspire innovation through articulating visions and strategies, building customer and consumer insight, generating new ideas, championing change, thinking beyond direct sphere of influence and cultivating an innovative culture within the department
- Deliver results by translating strategies into plans and actions, organize deployment of resources through leadership of supervisors, being a skilled practitioner of business fundamentals, prioritizing, collaborating, making calculated, courageous decisions and taking ownership of results
- Inspire high performance by modeling, influencing and communicating, energizing and motivating others, developing/coaching/mentoring others, developing self and inspiring trust
- Actively engage in a range of human capital development responsibilities and initiatives to enhance the skills, capabilities and succession plans of the department
- Recruit, hire and develop supervisory staff toward the accomplishment of project milestones and function-specific activities
- Demonstrate a passion for the business by living the values, enhancing the company reputation and personally connecting to the company and what it stands for
- Initiating travel both domestically (10%: 4-5 weeks/year) and internationally (5-10% 4-5 weeks/year) in order to ensure job objectives are met

Education- MS / Ph.D./ MPharma
Experience - 15+ years or above related working experience working in pharmaceutical, nutritional, or consumer goods industries
