The Opportunity:

We continues to scale across markets, user segments, and product surfaces, we are strengthening our marketing leadership to build a distinctive brand, drive efficient user acquisition, and provide world-class creative support across the organization.

The Head of Marketing role combines strategic leadership with strong execution ownership and is accountable for how we are perceived in the market, how users discover the platform, and how our story is told consistently across touchpoints. This role owns Brand Awareness, User Acquisition, and Creative Excellence across channels, and is responsible for integrating brand-building, performance marketing, content, and community storytelling into a unified growth engine.

This role is not a CRM or lifecycle role nor a product marketing substitute. You will shape how millions discover and engage with sports and activity in their daily lives. This is a rare opportunity to build a global consumer brand from India in a category with massive, untapped demand.

What you will do:

  • Brand Awareness & Market Presence
  • Build top-of-mind awareness for our brand as the leading sports and activity platform, positioned as a community-first, participation-driven brand
  • Develop and drive GTM campaigns for product features and category expansions across multiple markets with localization frameworks and playbooks
  • Strengthen our brand equity with collaborators, users, partners, and the broader ecosystem through ATL and BTL initiatives
  • Strategic Leadership & Business Alignment
  • Lead a high-performing marketing organization across content & community flywheel, digital marketing initiatives and creatives enablement
  • Own the marketing budget, KPIs, roadmap, calendar, campaigns and board-level visibility
  • Partner with product and business teams to identify growth levers across cities, sports categories, and user segments
  • Content Marketing & Community Engagement
  • Own and drive a unified content calendar across brand, social, community, and campaigns to ensure consistent storytelling, timely execution, and alignment with brand and acquisition priorities
  • Build our community-led growth engine through creators, brands, sports communities, social media campaigns and offline activations
  • Architect a content system that balances storytelling, education, and performance aimed at developing the sports participation category narrative and or market leadership
  • Digital Acquisition Marketing
  • Own top-of-funnel growth across paid, organic, partnerships, and emerging channels while driving CAC efficiency, channel diversification, and scalable acquisition systems
  • Drive channel-level accountability through the digital marketing lead across drip campaigns, performance marketing and SEO/ASO/GEO
  • Partner with the product team to ensure acquisition quality & measurement, downstream activation and content-led user engagement
  • Creative Engine Enablement
  • Build a robust internal creative and campaign engine, led by the creative lead that powers product & business teams
  • Act as the steward of brand consistency across all customer touchpoints while aligning the brand narrative with product value, communication campaigns and promotional outputs

What we expect of you in 2 months:


  • Diagnose brand and growth engine health across markets and benchmark our brand and acquisition strategy against key global and regional competitors
  • Marketing org design and hirings implemented with clearly defined team KPIs
  • Define user metrics which need to be tracked and measured in real time
  • Identify and execute quick-win growth initiatives
  • Present a clear, prioritized action plan outlining immediate fixes, medium-term growth bets and long-term brand and acquisition strategy

What we expect of you in 6 months:


  • Clear and consistent brand positioning across markets with repeatable global and regional GTM playbooks
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing organization with clear ownership, KPIs, and growth paths across content & community, digital and creative
  • Established community and content flywheel driving organic discovery
  • Measurable improvement in acquisition efficiency and top-of-funnel quality leading to a sustainable growth engine with strong LTV/CAC economics
  • Established creative enablement engine for powering business growth

What we're looking for:


  • 1215 years of marketing leadership experience in consumer tech, marketplaces or digital community platforms
  • Proven track record of scaling brands and acquisition across geographies
  • Experience building global or multi-market brands from India
  • Deep expertise in performance marketing, SEO, and growth systems
  • Strong creative instincts and storytelling ability
  • Track record of leading multi-channel marketing teams
  • High ownership, strategic thinking, collaborative approach and operator mindset
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments (startups preferred)
  • Ability to deeply understand our domain sports, communities, venues, and real-world participation and reflect that understanding in brand and go-to-market decisions
