Job Description

Responsibilities & Deliverables

  • Lead the marketing team for effective brand positioning, messaging, and brand building amongst two primary audiences – prospective students, and recruiters.
  • Guide marketing, design, and communications team and agencies to ensure adherence to brand values and guidelines, and maintain quality governance.
  • Drive integrated marketing campaigns for admissions including digital, PR, advertising, and creative content to ensure quality leads resulting in paid application submits.
  • Oversee PR strategy, and execution through outreach, press releases, media relations, and placement of authored articles. Build visibility for the institution and its leadership.
  • Work cross-functionally with Admissions, Placements, Programme teams for institutional branding requirements.
  • Lead event branding, creative assets, production, and experience design.
  • Team management, mentorship, motivation, performance evaluation, and workload balancing.
  • Responsible for the marketing budget ensuring cost effectiveness and process compliance.
  • Vendor selection, governance and management for cost-effective delivery against timelines and brand standards.
  • Oversee digital marketing strategy (SEO, SEM, paid media, CRM, automation) and leverage AI and emerging platforms
  • Optimize lead-to-enrolment conversion rates and marketing ROI
  • Refine marketing strategy on an ongoing basis using data, market insights and competitive benchmarking against leading higher education institutions
  • Lead integrated internal and external communications to ensure consistent institutional narrative

Skills & Capabilities

  • Brand strategy, institutional positioning, narrative building.
  • Execution excellence across 360° campaigns and creative workflows.
  • Strong stakeholder management with leadership, faculty, peers, agencies, vendors.
  • Analytical and commercial acumen for budgets and media evaluation.
  • People leadership, mentoring, and development.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in higher education, EdTech or related fields preferred

Qualifications Required

  • MBA or Master's in Marketing, Communications, Branding, or related field.
  • A minimum of 15 - 18 years of experience in marketing with at least 5 years of leadership experience in marketing, brand, or communications.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, PR, event production, and branding systems.
  • Strong financial discipline and execution capability.
