Role Overview
Catalyst Trusteeship Limited is seeking a dynamic and hands-on IT Head to lead our technology infrastructure, cloud operations, and cybersecurity initiatives. As a SEBI-regulated entity, our priority is data integrity, system availability, and rigorous compliance. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between high-level IT strategy and day-to-day technical execution, ensuring our digital assets are secure, scalable, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud & Data Center Operations
- Hybrid Infrastructure: Manage and optimize our cloud presence across AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and cost-efficiency.
- Data Center Management: Oversee on-premise or co-located data center operations, including hardware lifecycle management, cooling, and power redundancy.
- Disaster Recovery: Lead the design and regular testing of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) sites.
2. Networking & Connectivity
- Architecture: Maintain and troubleshoot robust office networking, including switching, routing, firewalls (Next-Gen), and VPNs for secure remote access.
- Performance: Monitor network bandwidth and latency to ensure seamless application delivery across the organization.
3. Information Security (Infosec) & Compliance
- SEBI Compliance: Act as the primary custodian for IT audits. Ensure adherence to the SEBI Cybersecurity & Cyber Resilience framework.
- Security Posture: Manage Endpoint Security (EDR), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and regular VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) exercises.
- Data Privacy: Implement strict data encryption and leakage prevention (DLP) protocols to protect sensitive financial records.
4. Application Support & Operations
- L3 Support: Provide high-level support for internal and client-facing applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with external software and Infra vendors and service providers to ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met.
Required Technical Expertise
- Cloud Platforms: Expert-level proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS) and Azure (Active Directory, Virtual Machines).
- Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and storage solutions.
- Security Tools: Deep understanding of Firewalls (Fortinet/Cisco/Sophos), SIEM tools, and SOC operations.
- Networking: Proficiency in VLANs, SD-WAN, and protocol management (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in IT infrastructure, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Industry Background: Prior experience in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) or with a SEBI-regulated firm is highly preferred.
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Certifications: (Preferred) CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, or ITIL.
Soft Skills
- Resilience: Ability to remain calm and decisive during system outages or security incidents.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to forecast technology needs and align IT budgets (CAPEX/OPEX) with business goals.
- Communication: Capable of explaining complex technical risks to non-technical stakeholders and board members.
