We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead end-to-end data engineering, data platform, and analytics initiatives across cloud environments. The role involves designing scalable data solutions, driving cloud data transformations, and partnering with business and technical stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade data platforms.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end data architecture for Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Engineering, and BI solutions on cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure)
- Translate business requirements into scalable functional and non-functional architecture (performance, scalability, security, availability)
- Design and implement large-scale data pipelines for batch, real-time, and event-driven processing
- Architect distributed data systems using tools like Spark, Dataflow, Dataproc, EMR, Kafka, Airflow, etc.
- Design scalable data warehouse solutions using BigQuery, Redshift, and similar platforms
- Manage data integration across structured and unstructured sources
- Ensure data quality, governance, validation, and monitoring frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders and pre-sales teams for solutioning (RFPs/RFIs)
- Lead cloud migration projects from on-prem to cloud platforms
- Mentor teams, define best practices, and contribute to accelerators and assets
Must-Have Skills:
- Data architecture & solution design (10+ years experience)
- Cloud platforms (GCP / AWS / Azure – multi-cloud preferred)
- Data lakes, data warehouses & data engineering
- ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, DataStage, Talend, etc.)
- Big data processing (Spark, PySpark, Scala, Hadoop ecosystem)
- Cloud data services (BigQuery, Redshift, S3, GCS, EMR, Dataflow, Dataproc)
- Data pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Composer, Kafka, Pub/Sub)
- SQL & NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)
- Data modeling & BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
- Cloud architecture understanding (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, microservices, containers)
- Data migration & cloud transformation projects
