Role Description

We are a high-growth IT startup specializing in [mention your startup's core tech/niche]. We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic HR Generalist to manage the complete employee experience from the moment a new hire is onboarded until their final exit. This role is the backbone of our operational HR and focuses on maintaining a positive, compliant, and engaging work environment for our team.

Key Responsibilities

I. Post-Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Onboarding & Integration: Oversee the transition from candidate to integrated employee. Ensure all new hires receive essential resources, benefits information, and system access.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in the HR Information System (HRIS) for organizational tracking, reporting, and compliance.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Administer employee benefits programs serving as the primary point of contact for employee queries and managing annual enrollment processes.
  • Policy Management: Ensure all employee policies are clearly documented, communicated, and consistently enforced, aligning with legal requirements.

II. Performance Management & Engagement

  • Performance Reviews: Coordinate and manage the quarterly/annual performance review cycles, ensuring timely feedback delivery and documentation.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a confidential resource for employees and managers to resolve workplace issues, mediate disputes, and provide guidance on company policies.
  • Engagement & Culture: Partner with leadership to develop and execute initiatives (surveys, team-building events) designed to boost morale, enhance employee satisfaction, and reinforce company culture.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate internal/external workshops or resources for employee development

III. Compliance & Exit Management

  • Documentation: Manage and maintain digital and physical employee files securely, including contracts, performance records, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Exit Process: Conduct professional and constructive exit interviews to gather candid feedback on reasons for departure and company culture.
  • Offboarding: Efficiently manage all offboarding logistics, including coordinating final payroll, benefits termination, collection of company assets (laptops, badges), and required termination paperwork.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience:2-4 years of experience in an HR Generalist or People Operations role, preferably within a startup or high-growth IT environment.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of core HR disciplines, including employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and labor law compliance.
  • Soft Skills: High level of confidentiality, integrity, and discretion. Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
  • Education: Master's degree in Human Resources
