Job Description

HR Head | Bengaluru

A leading international university commencing operations in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Head to lead the Human Resources function and support its growth journey in India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead talent acquisition for academic, leadership, and professional staff positions.
  • Drive workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, and organisational development initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations, HR operations, policy implementation, and statutory compliance.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute people strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Build and lead a high-performing HR team while fostering an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.
  • Support organisational growth, change management, and capability-building initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience with significant leadership exposure.
  • Mandatory experience in the education sector, preferably with universities, higher education institutions, international schools, or large education groups.
  • Strong expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, HR operations, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leadership and managing diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills.
  • Exposure to international universities, global education providers, or greenfield campus setups will be an added advantage.
