Role Description

The Head of Growth & Business will oversee strategies for customer acquisition, sales, and business development to achieve company objectives and revenue growth. This position is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. Key responsibilities include driving growth marketing initiatives, executing innovative campaigns, and developing partnerships to expand market presence. The role requires monitoring performance metrics, identifying new market opportunities, and leading a high-performing team to achieve business goals.

Growth and Revenue Ownership

  • Own and drive overall revenue growth across D2C website, marketplaces, and offline channels
  • Build and execute strategies to scale from current revenue to the next stage of growth
  • Drive performance marketing, retention, and lifecycle strategies

D2C and Marketing Growth

  • Scale D2C website (Shopify or similar) with focus on conversion, retention, and repeat
  • Drive growth on marketplaces like Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, and quick commerce platforms
  • Optimize CAC, ROAS, and contribution margins

Omnichannel Expansion

  • Build and scale new channels including HORECA, retail, and partnerships
  • Explore and drive international expansion opportunities

Data & Profitability Focus

  • Own key metrics: CAC, LTV, AOV, retention, contribution margin
  • Drive data-led decision making and continuous experimentation

Team Leadership

  • Lead and build a high-performing growth team across marketing, ecommerce, and partnerships
  • Align cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, product) for execution

Key Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in growth, ecommerce, or business roles
  • Proven experience in scaling a D2C / consumer brand (FMCG, skincare, healthcare, cosmetics, food & beverage, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, marketplaces, and unit economics
  • Demonstrated ownership of revenue / P&L
  • Experience in omnichannel growth (D2C + marketplace + offline)
  • Strong execution mindset with ability to move fast and drive outcomes
