Head of Finance

We are currently supporting a global pharma technology business in the search for a senior Head of Finance to lead and transform its finance function in India.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can go beyond reporting and compliance, and act as a true business partner to leadership.

The business in India combines multiple revenue streams and operating models, including software delivery, machinery and lifecycle business, and services support. As the organization continues to grow, the finance function is expected to evolve into a stronger business steering function with greater visibility on profitability, delivery performance, and decision support.

Key focus areas of the role:

• Lead the full finance function in India
• Strengthen business steering and financial transparency
• Partner closely with leadership on performance and decision-making
• Oversee governance, controls, and compliance
• Develop the team and build a stronger business finance capability
• Support integration across multiple business lines and locations

Ideal background:

• 15+ years of finance experience
• Prior experience as Head of Finance / Finance Director / Senior Finance Leader
• Background in multinational technology, engineering, industrial, or IT services environments
• Strong commercial finance and business partnering capability
• Experience in project-based, delivery-led, or service-oriented setups
• Proven people leadership and team development skills
