Job Description

  • Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for all engineering systems including HVAC, electrical, DG sets, medical gases, lifts, plumbing, and utilities.
  • Ensure uninterrupted functioning of critical systems through robust planning and continuous monitoring.
  • Oversee all capital projects, renovations, retrofits, and expansion initiatives from design to handover.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure quality, timelines, and cost control.
  • Drive compliance with safety, fire norms, environmental standards, and statutory regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits, maintain documentation, and liaise with government authorities.
  • Lead and develop an engineering team comprising technicians, electricians, plumbers, and contractors.
  • Manage engineering budgets, AMCs, vendor evaluations, and energy optimization initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Engineering should have:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
  • 15-20 years of experience in Engineering & Maintenance with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Mandatory experience in hospitals, large hotels, or mall environments.
  • Proven expertise across MEP systems, project execution, and vendor management.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory norms and safety compliance.
  • Leadership ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with senior stakeholders.
