RMT Engineering is the technology and innovation arm of the group, focused on software development, product engineering, AI/ML-led platforms, automation, Dialer/IVR/Logger, CRM, QMS, dashboards/analytics, and next-gen customer interaction products for internal and external enterprise clients.
As part of our next phase, we are strengthening and productizing our Conversational AI + Agentic Automation portfolio across Voice Bots, Chatbots, Email Bots, WhatsApp Bots, Agent Assist, and a scalable cloud/SaaS platform for enterprise use cases.
Role Overview
We are hiring a hands-on, execution-first product leader to unify, strengthen, and productize our conversational AI stack into a commercially sellable, enterprise-grade platform.
This is not a presentation-only role. We need someone who can:
- Assess what already exists, identify gaps quickly, and ship improvements fast
- Drive a platform mindset (not fragmented pilots/projects)
- Deliver in weeks/months, not 6–10 months
- Work at the ground level with engineers, conversation designers, QA, and delivery teams to fix gaps and ship releases
Key Responsibilities / KRAs
1) Product Vision, Strategy & Roadmap (Platform-first)
- Define Conversational AI + Agentic Automation portfolio product vision and roadmap for Voice, Chat, WhatsApp, Email, Agent Assist etc.
- Audit existing demos, flows, integrations, and assets; decide what to reuse / rebuild / restructure
- Convert business goals into a 90-day / 180-day execution roadmap with clear milestones
2) Platform Productization & Enterprise Readiness
- Build a unified platform with modules like:
- Admin panel, tenant management, onboarding
- Flow builder / orchestration, knowledge + intent layer
- Human handoff + escalation, call routing
- Analytics, dashboards, conversation intelligence
- Access control, audit logs, usage controls, billing hooks
- Ensure enterprise-grade readiness: reliability, observability, SLAs, governance
3) Build vs Integrate Decisions (Speed + Control)
- Decide what to build internally vs integrate (LLMs, STT/TTS, telephony, WhatsApp/email APIs, analytics)
- Ensure we move fast without losing critical product control, security, and differentiation
4) Hands-on Execution + Delivery Discipline (Non-negotiable)
- Run weekly sprint governance, release cadence, demos, and progress visibility
- Remove bottlenecks; enforce quality gates; ensure every milestone is demoable
- Drive ship → measure → improve loops with real adoption metrics
5) Team Leadership + Capability Building
- Build and lead a lean, strong team (as needed):
- Conversational AI / Solutions Architect
- Product Manager / Conversation Designer
- Backend/Full-stack engineers
- AI/Automation engineers
- QA + implementation support
- Set strong ownership, timelines, and performance culture
6) Commercial Readiness + GTM Support
- Package capabilities into sellable offerings (plans, usage models, enterprise bundles)
- Partner with pre-sales/sales for demos, pilots, and conversion
- Convert pilot learnings into product roadmap improvements (fast)
What Success Looks Like (First 90–120 Days)
- Clear platform roadmap + priorities frozen and execution started
- Strengthened product stack with visible improvements in quality + reliability
- Unified flow/process for voice/chat/WhatsApp/email with repeatable onboarding
- Better dashboards, governance, handoffs, and integration playbooks
- A product that is sellable confidently with enterprise discipline
Must-Have Profile
- Proven experience in Conversational AI / CX automation / agent assist / workflow automation
- Strong productization experience: 0→1 or 1→scale
- Solid understanding of SaaS/platform thinking, enterprise controls, integrations
- Ability to go deep with tech teams (architecture awareness, not dependent on others)
- Hands-on execution mindset + speed + ownership
- Comfort in a founder-led, high-accountability environment
What We Are NOT Looking For
- Presentation-only leaders with limited execution depth
- Pure project managers without product/platform ownership
- Leaders who need 6–10 months to show output without shipping tangible releases
- Profiles dependent entirely on junior teams for product direction
