Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Gurugram for the Head of Modern Trade and E-commerce in the edible oils segment. The individual will oversee the development and execution of strategies to drive revenue growth and market share within modern trade channels and online platforms. Responsibilities include establishing and managing relationships with key retail and e-commerce partners, analyzing market trends, optimizing channel performance, and leading a high-performing team to achieve business goals. The role also involves managing budgets, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Modern Trade channel management, E-commerce strategies, and vendor negotiations
  • Proven experience in Sales and Business Development, with the ability to drive revenue growth and manage partnerships effectively
  • Data analytics, Market trend analysis, and Performance optimization skills
  • Leadership capabilities such as Team Management, Interdepartmental Collaboration, and Strategic Planning
  • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management practices in the FMCG sector, particularly in the edible oils category
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred
  • Proven experience in FMCG, preferably within the edible oils industry, is an advantage
