Job Description

Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on corporate and regulatory matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to safeguard the organisation's interests.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in the Technology & Telecoms sector.
Manage and oversee legal disputes, including liaising with external legal counsel.
Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
Support corporate governance initiatives and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
Monitor changes in legislation and advise on their potential impact on the organisation.
Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, fostering a culture of excellence.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head Legal should have:

A degree in Law from a recognised institution.
Proven expertise in handling legal and compliance matters, particularly in the Technology & Telecoms industry.
Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.
Exceptional skills in contract negotiation and drafting.
Ability to manage and resolve complex legal disputes effectively.
Experience in leading and mentoring a legal team.
A proactive and solution-oriented approach to legal challenges.
