Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head – Human Resources to lead and drive the overall HR function with a strong focus on talent acquisition and workforce development. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the textile or manufacturing sector, with proven ability to attract, develop, and retain skilled talent across design, merchandising, and plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Strategic Hiring (Core Focus)

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across all levels
  • Focus on hiring:
  • Textile Designers
  • Product Development Teams
  • Merchandising Professionals
  • Manufacturing & Plant Workforce
  • Drive bulk hiring as well as niche/leadership hiring
  • Develop sourcing strategies including headhunting and referrals
  • Build strong partnerships with recruitment agencies
  • Lead campus hiring initiatives from textile institutes

2. Industry Networking & Talent Pipeline

  • Build and leverage strong networks within textile/home textile industry
  • Create continuous talent pipelines through industry connects and institutes
  • Stay updated on hiring trends and talent availability in the market

3. Learning & Development

  • Identify skill gaps across departments
  • Design and implement training programs for designers, factory staff, and corporate teams
  • Drive capability-building initiatives to improve productivity and performance

4. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee complete HR lifecycle: onboarding to exit
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (PF, ESI, labor laws)
  • Manage payroll inputs, employee benefits, and HR documentation
  • Handle audits and maintain compliance standards

5. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Develop and execute employee engagement strategies
  • Build a high-performance, disciplined, and positive work culture
  • Address employee grievances and ensure smooth workplace relations

6. Performance Management

  • Lead performance management system (PMS), appraisals, and goal setting
  • Support leadership development and succession planning
  • Align performance metrics with business objectives

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 7–20 years of HR experience in textile / home textile / manufacturing industry
  • Strong expertise in bulk hiring and niche talent acquisition (designers)
  • Well-connected within the textile ecosystem
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Passionate about people development and organizational growth
