Role Overview

Hands-on role requiring strong expertise in AWS EMR administration, cluster management, and cloud infrastructure. Candidate should be comfortable managing large-scale big data environments.

Primary Skills

Strong experience in AWS EMR (Elastic MapReduce)

Expertise in EMR cluster deployment & management (persistent & transient)

Hands-on with AWS EC2, S3, CloudFormation

Experience with Terraform (IaC)

Knowledge of IAM & AWS Networking

Experience in monitoring & performance optimization

Additional Skills

Hadoop ecosystem & Hive management

Shell scripting

Python & PySpark

Snowflake (Data Warehousing)

Big Data technologies
