Job Description:
- Should have 5+ years of experience with extensive hands-on expertise in manual and automation testing across client-server and web-based applications. Should have specialized experience in Guidewire platforms, including Policy Center, Billing Center, and Claim Center.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop Effective Test strategies and Test Plans for the Guidewire policy center billing center application.
- Evaluate product according to requirements or specifications provided.
- Create High level scenarios for test case creation.
- Maintain requirement traceability matrix to ensure optimum test coverage.
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing if required.
- Analyze the defects and provide console logs, trace ID to the development team for quick understanding and turn around for defect fixes.
- Peer review of the test cases authored and make necessary changes as and where required. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze changes and identify areas of the application to be regression tested.
- Author Test cases based on the requirements.
- Execute test cases manually and analyze results.
- Gather functional requirements related to test automation.
- Designs test automation scripts
- Maintains test automation suite and executes the scripts as and when required.
- Debugs the failed test cases and reports the issues.
- Preparing scripts, test data, execution & analysis of business processes
- Communicate issues to management, client and support groups as needed regarding finds from testing activities and support issues.
