Description
We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Developer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Guidewire applications and will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Guidewire solutions to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Guidewire applications based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain Guidewire configuration, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Guidewire applications and perform root cause analysis.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and team members.
- Stay updated with the latest Guidewire releases and enhancements.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in Guidewire development and configuration.
- Strong understanding of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Proficiency in Java, Gosu, and SQL.
- Experience with Guidewire integrations and APIs.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
