What We're Building

Every professional has a moment. A recruiter messages them out of nowhere. Review season hits. A manager says build the case for your promotion. And they open a blank doc and freeze.

Not because they haven't done the work. Because they never captured it.

Pretzl fixes that. You log what you did, in 3 minutes, in whatever way works for you — voice, text, a screenshot of a Slack message. We structure it, score it, and store it. Then when the moment comes, we generate whatever you need: a performance review, a promotion case, a CV, a LinkedIn post, a full set of STAR interview answers.

But it goes further than that. Someone told us last week they used Pretzl to answer: I want to become a Product Manager at Anthropic. What's missing from my profile right now We ran a gap analysis against the role. Gave them a specific answer. That's where this is going.

Career intelligence. Not just a place to log wins. A system that knows your story better than you do and tells you exactly what to do next.

We have our first 100 users. They're active, they're giving us feedback daily, and they're already telling us things we didn't expect. We're building fast and we're just getting started

What You'll Do

  • Acquisition from zero. Find and recruit obsessed early users, the PM who panics before review season, the senior IC quietly updating their CV after a recruiter DM. You'll be in Reddit threads, Slack communities, and DMs doing things that don't scale.
  • AI-assisted product work. Use Lovable and Claude to wireframe, build, and iterate on features. You don't need to write production code. You need to know how to prompt AI to build what users actually need.
  • Growth automation. Build acquisition loops and workflows using n8n. Think referral mechanics, onboarding sequences, re-engagement triggers.
  • Continuous discovery. Talk to users. Understand where the product loses them. Translate that into product changes fast.

Who We're Looking For

  • Someone who opens Claude Code before they open a doc. Lovable is part of your daily toolkit, not something you tried once.
  • You understand how growth actually works, not just the theory. Funnels, loops, retention hooks etc
  • You know LinkedIn and Reddit aren't the same game. On LinkedIn you build credibility. On Reddit you earn trust by being genuinely useful, and you understand the difference between a post that gets removed and one that gets 200 upvotes. You know how subreddits work, what gets flagged, how to add value without making it about you.
  • You're comfortable doing the early stuff. That means cold DMs, user interviews, showing up at university career events, talking to strangers on Zoom. Getting the first 500 users however it takes.
  • You're curious about all of it. Not just growth or just product. The whole thing.

What This Role Pays

Equity only. No base salary right now.

0.5% – 2.5% depending on what you bring and what you build.

What you do get from day one: Claude Max, unlimited Lovable credits, n8n, Supabase, and direct access to a founder who's done this before. The tools to build whatever you can think of, without waiting for budget approval or an engineering ticket.

This is the right role if you want to own something real and you don't need a salary to do it. It's the wrong role if you do. Both are valid. We'd rather you know now.

How We Hire

No behavioural interviews. No tell me about a time.

Stage 1: Conversation (30-45 mins). Unfiltered chat with the founder. No slides. Are we two people who want to build something together

Stage 2: Pretzl Teardown (take-home). You've used the product. Tell us where it loses people, what the aha moment should be, and how you'd get the first 100 power users with zero budget.

Stage 3: Build It. Come back with a plan. Better: come back with something you built. An n8n workflow, a Lovable prototype, a landing page test. Show, don't tell.

Stage 4: The Wildcard. Pitch us the most unhinged marketing idea for Pretzl or any of your favourite products (plus points if it's Anthropic) that might actually work. We want your creative edge.
